  1. Also polls and stuff,
Survation show that Labour is at +7%
Survation, which accurately predicted last year’s election result, puts Jeremy Corbyn on 44%, with Theresa May’s Conservative Party trailing on 37% and the Lib Dems notching just 9%.

The problem is complex systems often behave in unexpected ways they are not designed to behave in, and the operators do not have the information to understand what is going on or the tools to fix it

This is fascinating. I’ve felt this way about cars for a while. More and more basic tasks automated, leading to worse and worse drivers if any of the component pieces fail or environment means they don’t work.

    Will check out the book.

  4. Deebee’s Lionz team to take on Australia’s finest:

15 Tyrone Green, 14 Ruan Combrinck, 13 Wandisile Simelane, 12 Franco Naude, 11 Courtnall Skosan, 10 Elton Jantjies 9 Ross Cronjé, 8 Kwagga Smith, 7 Vincent Tshituka, 6 Marnus Schoeman, 5 Stephan Lewies, 4 Marvin Orie, 3 Carlu Sadie, 2 Malcolm Marx (c), 1 Dylan Smith.
Subs: 16 Jan-Henning Campher, 17 Sti Sithole, 18 Frans van Wyk, 19 Rhyno Herbst, 20 Ruan Vermaak, 21 Gianni Lombard, 22 Lionel Mapoe, 23 Andries Coetzee.

Simelane turned in a terrific performance last week. The 15 is new as well, and was in the same school first XV 3 years ago and Wandisile. My boy Gianni Lombard seems to be there as half-back replacement.

Survation currently have Remain on 55% with every voting district in Scotland, Norn Irn and Wales in favour of Remain.

None of them are quite as strongly Remain-tolerant as Brighton, mind, 77% Remainers here.

The midlands of England and the east coast down from Yorkhire seem to be the ones being represented by current government policy

  6. HBH, the forecast isn’t great for the next few days. Plus, you’re going on a stag do. Leave the camera at home. Trust your eyes and your memory.

Bear in mind that the People’s Vote organisation have said, today, that this is not the time to vote on the the 2nd ref and have even attacked the Tingers for pushing it in parliament.
